a.k.a. "Where Becca Lost Just About Every Shred of Innocence She Ever Possessed"

All right, well, I'm not going to do a "report," per se, because a lot of other people have done great ones, and they were actually there for more than twenty-four hours! <fume> Let's just say that I had all kinds of fun, I miss you all terribly, and WHEN CAN WE DO IT AGAIN?!?! :) (Oh, and Rach? You will never get me out on the dance floor again. This year was it. Next time, I'm staying in a corner and watching everyone else. ;))

As you already know if you've had the misfortune of seeing my photographs before, I am the world's worst photographer. My camera, a cheap, crappy 35mm, did not help things. Also, my scanner is working its way toward that great computer lab in the sky, so even with brightness/contrast/color correction in Photoshop, these are still horrible scans. Arrrrrggghhh. Hard to believe, but these are the best of the roll of film I took. Between general bad pictures, the camera's shutter sticking, and K-Mart simply refusing to develop perfectly good negatives (I'm taking those back ASAP and getting the proofs), there isn't a lot. And of what I do have, half of the pics contain Phil. You're my good luck charm, Phil. ;)

Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning
The setting: The Cincinnati Marriott North's lobby. Raise your hand if you think whoever that is sitting by the fountain (not a clue as to the name) looks exactly like Aeryn.
I don't remember why Shaye and Phil were doing this. But one of the infamous quote notebooks is in the foreground.
Group hug! Shaye, Phil, and Shan.
Natalie, Käthe, and Sarah do a dance...wave...*something* during the singalong at the banquet. John tries to pretend he doesn't know them.
Rachel at the banquet. I'm sorry, it's a crappy picture even for me. But she's my twin, so I have a prerogative to put up bad pictures. <eg>
Corde and Bongo, dressed so like Aeryn that he won the costume contest.
Cristin being nice and posing for me. (a.k.a. "Becca can't think up a clever caption")
Our very own Stark, Phantom82!
Phil. Again.
Phil and his wives, Shan and Rachel. This was taken just after the proposal(s), to which I was witness. Don't they look happy? <snerk>
Group shot of Rach, Phil, Shan and John just before I had to leave. <sniff>

This is what happens when someone has a skyline fetish...
Cincinnati, as we flew by on I-75. Or this could be Louisville...I don't really remember.
I'm pretty sure it's Louisville, shrieking by at 70 mph on I-65 as we made our way back to Nashville, but it might be Cincinnati.
I'm fairly certain this is the oh-so-famous spires of Churchill Downs. (Horses...Kentucky Derby...Triple Crown...) It was taken in Louisville, anyway.
